Reference 1 MkIII

The Reference 1 MkIII is a throwback to the earlier days of MJ Acoustics and British subwoofers in general. Unique in the MJ Acoustics remote-controlled Reference Series is its ported “bass reflex” asymmetrical cabinet,. It features a 10” Ultra Long Throw Driver, a 250 watt Power Amp, High & Low Level Inputs, and Twin Crossover Circuits all housed in a massive, beautifully finished 19.7” x 18” x 12.6” (hwd) downwardly-ported cabinet. MJ Acoustics has carefully designed this port and cabinet to quietly (no port noise here) use the cabinet’s internal volume to assist the driver to accurately produce the deepest low frequencies.  If that is not enough, it even comes with a totally out-of-sight remote control and a remote eye receiver to make recalling one of the 4 user-presets an absolute breeze. Like all MJ Acoustics subs, the Reference 1 MkIII is designed to integrate with any speaker from small satellites to high end floor standers. With a -3db rating at 10Hz in room, a super convenient remote control for set up, and classic British ported subwoofer design it’ll take your system to the “stygian depths” found within its music.
